One Johns Creek is a coalition of community growing partners and individuals. The mission is "Growing a community committed to reduce youth/young adult substance misuse while creating a thriving culture of wellness." As a unified body, members will work together, avoid duplication of effort, and become a chorus effect versus solo performances; in being the voice of prevention for the city of Johns Creek as well as the North Fulton Community. One Johns Creek will deliver predominantly environmental prevention strategies to establish and strengthen and strengthen collaboration in order to reduce youth substance misuse. One Johns Creek will address the factors in the community that increase the risk of substance abuse and promote the factors that minimize the risk of substance abuse through a systematic and measurable approach called the Strategic Prevention Framework.
