A world leader in polymer science and polymer engineering, the School of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering is one of the largest and most diverse research and academic programs of its kind in the U.S. The school's distinguished faculty represents one of the largest concentrations of polymer expertise to be found anywhere, having invented more than 300 issued and pending patents, including some that have been commercialized worldwide. The school has helped launch 18 regional startup businesses.
