The Michael V. Hayden Center for Intelligence, Policy, and International Security was established in October 2017 as the premiere center for the rational discussion of intelligence, how it supports the making of US policy, and enhances US national security and international stability. Founded by Michael V. Hayden, former director of both CIA and NSA, and retired four-star general officer, the center is ideally situation at the Arlington campus of the Schar School of Policy and Government, just outside Washington, DC, where it can take advantage of its proximity to government officials, thought leaders, and the award-winning faculty of the Schar School.
