Hillsboro Fire and Rescue is on the scene for some of life’s most difficult events. We strive to help our community be as safe a place as possible. Hillsboro Fire and Rescue is a career organization of 122 personnel led by Fire Chief David Downey. Our department prides itself on providing highly trained staff with state of the art equipment to serve residents, visitors and businesses with around the clock emergency fire, paramedic and life safety outreach services from five fire stations located throughout the 24.25 square mile area of the City of Hillsboro.
