The objective of IPSE is to finance Intellectual Property by transforming an IP right into a valuable and negotiable security listed on a securities market. The system of IPSE works in the same way as pass-through securities. IPSE begins by pooling IP rights in example all contracts of a movie not yet made. IPSE then proceeds to securitize these rights and finally sells them on a securities market so that IP holder can raise capital from investors in order to finance said movie.
