Our Original Black Garlic is carefully chosen, high quality, raw garlic that has been expertly aged using nothing but heat and humidity for a very long time. The result is sticky and delicious Black Garlic, providing fantastic taste in cooking or a healthy, tasty snack. Once aged, black garlic is totally different to the raw garlic, offering up a much more mellow taste, but with huge complexity and depth, a sweet/savoury umami flavour and tasting notes of molasses, balsamic, tamarind, caramel, dates and much more. It's perfect for use in soups and sauces or add a dollop (or two) to your chilli and Bolognese to add depth and boost richness.
