First Baptist Church was founded in 1837 and is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. As a church, we are committed to: making, maturing, and multiplying disciples who are rooted in the gospel, watered with the Word, and nurtured by the church –for the bearing of much fruit, for the good of all nations, and for the glory of God.
