SEIDs is the social innovation and enterprise strategy of Caritas Westminster. Its mission is to provide pathways out of disadvantage into dignified and decent work by providing support for the development of creative and sustainable self-employment opportunities, and through the provision of training and employment in SEIDs own social enterprises/businesses. SEIDs is also a family of social enterprises: -SEIDs Social Innovation & Enterprise Hub in Wembley – to assist business start-ups become viable opportunities for decent work -SEIDs Property Services Enterprise working across north London – to provide training and employment on the job as a pathway into decent work.
