Highly prestigious 150+ year-old organization created to promote the understanding and appreciation of science. A model for public science outreach, the Academy connects professionals in science and technology to the community through region-wide (usually no-cost) initiatives, including: The Academy of Science-St. Louis regional K-12 Science Fair and its Honors Division, Outstanding St. Louis Scientist Awards, Forest Park BioBlitz, STEM Careers Explorations, and collaborative Science Seminars.
