BugsLife is an innovative Italian startup that enables agroindustrial entrepreneurs to bio-convert organic residues into valuable proteins for animal feed at an industrial scale. Our technologies and processes show greater resource use efficiency than conventional agricultural practices. These solutions exploit insect-based bioconversion of agro-industrial by-products to create premium insect meal for the feed industry. Our goal is to re-shape part of the Italian food system, starting from the agro-industry, finally introducing insects rearing as a renewable agricultural activity.
