If my photography has any, overarching purpose, or goal, it would have to be this - to suppress our reactionary inclination to confound the pre-linguistic emotions aroused by visual experience; to invite the viewer to become aware of the emotional response they may feel and to simply feel it, now, every time they view it. To usher in a more consistent awareness of, and and appreciation for, Presence. To make weaker the subconscious and erroneous belief we all have in the separation of things, other people and experience - the false belief that we are more different from, than we are similar to, the people, places and experiences in our lives. We ARE them and they ARE us. Quite literally. Separation is fiction.
