We are empowering people's healthcare, every day. Our Story Founder Michael Koch discovered the benefits of herbs in 2017 while living in Moscow. He started with Ivan Chai, an infusion hand-made by common people in Russia since the 17th century. Russia exported to Europe on a massive scale before during the 19th century. After the turmoil of the 1917 Russian Revolution, people forgot about Ivan Chai. Convinced of its health benefits, Michael ventured to make Ivan Chai with his own hands. He travelled far to a remote Siberian eco-village. He spent one year with the eco-village’s chief herb and tea technologist. He learned first-hand about the healing properties of Siberian herbs. When he was in the top health condition of his life, he decided to climb Belukha, Siberia’s tallest mountain. By pure serendipity, Michael met a Siberian herbalist in his expedition group. His name was Ivan. Ivan had studied traditional herbal medicine for over 20 years and was the oldest in the group (68). He made revitalising herbal teas from local plants he scavenged along their trek. Most of the group had reached the demanding 4500 meter summit and Michael returned to Europe. He told us this story and we also started believing in herbs. Today, Ivan continues to be one of our advisors on herbs to prevent sickness and remedy health issues.
