Robyn Shapiro is a lifelong student of art and design, beginning with classes at the Art Institute’s Young Artist Studios. She received her BFA in sculpture from the University of Illinois, followed by studies in Interior Design and training at the Milano Polytechnic with additional course work in Rome, Italy. She earned her Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois in 1988. Robyn began her namesake firm in 1996 and she is a licensed Interior Designer and LEED Certified Architect. Robyn is best known for creating serene, uncluttered interiors. Her style is characterized by a preference for tailored, modern silhouettes infused with the warmth of natural materials. She embraces a decidedly modern aesthetic, punctuated by a true appreciation for ethnic cultures and artisanal objects. Her interiors are disciplined, fueled by a desire for order and elegance. Robyn is committed to understanding the unique requirements of every project and meeting the objectives of every client. Her work has been featured in Chicago Magazine and CS Men’s Book as well as regional publications such as Utah Style and Design.
