Since 1942 Viro has specialized in security products. Many innovations introduced over the years: cylinders with emergency opening; the Panzer padlocks; the armored padlocks longitudinal to the chains and the safety bar. In 1983 the Fai By Viro brand was created, characterized by functionality, simplicity and low prices. In 1985 Viro Tronic was born, specialized in the development of electronic products applied to security mechanics and that same year, first in Europe, Viro launched Ram7, an electronic safe with futuristic functions that surprised and conquered the market. Since then, the application of electronics to mechanics has become a characteristic feature of Viro, which has invested more and more resources in Research and Development. The launch of the line of security cabinets for rifles and document holders dates back to 1996; while in 2006 the new patented "Ram-Touch" technology was launched, which allows the opening of cabinets and security safes through an effective fingerprint recognition system. Viro innovation continues at a steady pace, launching an average of ten new products on the market every year. Confirming the quality that has always distinguished it, in 1999 Viro obtained the ISO 9001 certification, which has always been updated and renewed since then.
