Howling Moon Software specializes in game and engine development for multiple platforms. They have participated in the development of over a dozen video games made for platforms ranging from the original iPhone to the latest iPads, Android tablets, custom x86 tablets, Mac, Windows, and the Unity3D webplayer. Founded in 2009 by Scott Lembcke and Andy Korth, Howling Moon Software may be best known for their Chipmunk2D physics engine. They also have been major contributors to the Cocos2D game engine. Recently they released the Super Fast Soft Shadows plug-in on the Unity Asset Store. Their clients include Disney, Warner Bros, Silicon Valley tech startups, local Minnesota companies, and independent developers all over the world. However, their true passion is for creating their homegrown game titles, like Verdant Skies.
