Resyca

Resyca develops and produces soft mist inhalers. Our inhalers deliver high dosages of inhalation solutions fast and efficiently to the lungs with a simple, purely mechanical, handheld device. Our inhalers are designed to simplify inhalation by our proprietary spray nozzle technology that reduces treatment steps and also makes time consuming cleaning procedures unnecessary. Recyca is owned and supported by Recipharm AB and Medspray BV. With joint service offers from Resyca, Recipharm and Medspray we can seamlessly support pharma partners in the development of inhaled drug products from early stage to commercial. Spray Nozzle Technology Our Spray Nozzle Technology requires only manual force from the operator to aerosolise liquid solution. It is pressed through the holes of the Spray Nozzle Unit (SNU) and aerosolised it into fine aerosol droplets. The SNU consists of a small silicone chip with a dimension of approximately 1 x 1 mm. In this chip roughly 70 nozzles are etched into the silicon by highly accurate microchip production processes. When leaving the chip the liquid solution forms a liquid jet that falls into small droplets having double the diameter of the spray nozzle diameter. This aerosol generation principle is called Rayleigh break-up. This technology allows generation of an aerosol particle size distribution with an extremely low geometric standard deviation and a high delivery efficiency. For the patient benefit all Resyca inhalers do not require cleaning or disinfection steps and users benefit from the easy to use and purely mechanical design. With the inhaler devices offered by Resyca we provide the perfect solution for different applications and use environments.
