My Call 2 Care is a telecare service which helps to support older people and other vulnerable adults so they can stay living in their own homes for as long as possible, without the need for physical support from carers. We can help identify problems before they reach crisis point. This service is particularly useful for: *People living alone who want reassurance that someone is touching base with them each day who may feel isolated from their community due to ill health. *People who are lonely and don’t see anyone from one day to the next, who worry if anyone would notice if they became unwell or were experiencing difficulties. *People who are at risk of falling or becoming increasingly frail but do not currently require physical support. *People with special needs / learning difficulties who live alone but just need some-one to contact them each day, to check they are ok. *People who have become a little forgetful and would appreciate a call each day to remind them to do certain things. *Families who live away from their parents who have busy lives and would like someone to touch base with their mum and dad each day. We have a telephone support service to respond to any issues or concerns you may have throughout the day between 9am and 9pm. We can keep your family up to date with your permission using an ‘app’ which keeps a basic record of your call with our Care Companion, giving both you and your family peace of mind. We are members of the TSA (Telecare Services Association) and all our Care Companions have an Enhanced DBS check and have been trained in wellbeing; medication management; safeguarding; basic first aid; dignity, dementia, confidentiality and many more. All our employees and clients also have access to a 24 hour wellbeing service which offers citizen advice information, general legal support and up to 6 hours of telephone counselling per year as required, this service is commissioned and paid for by us and delivered by experts in their own field.
