Public Joint-Stock Company “State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine” (PJSC “SFGCU”) is one of the largest players in the domestic agricultural market. It was established as a state enterprise pursuant to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. PJSC “SFGCU” comprises 45 branches. These include 2 port elevators in Odesa and Mykolaiv, 24 linear granaries, 18 grain products plants, 17 mills, 1 cereal plant and 2 mixed fodder plants. The functions of PJSC “State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine” are as follows: • rendering services in receiving, bringing the quality in compliance with the basic standards, grain storing, shipping, and processing; • production of flour, cereals and other food products; • production of fodders and mixed fodders, fodder additives and other fodder products; • formation of grain resources and products of primary processing thereof at the regional and national levels.
