The Centre was established in 2007 by The Department of Education and Skills Ireland and the Department of Education Northern Ireland to: Support the promotion of excellence throughout Northern Ireland and Ireland in the education of children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders. The Centre’s Vision is “to enhance the lives of children and young people with autism and their families, through the delivery of specialist educational services.” MCA Mission Statement is to support the promotion of excellence throughout Northern Ireland and Ireland in the education of children and young people with autism.
