The goal of our organization is to promote a passion for neuroscience, especially for youth. We provide a place for the congregation of like-minded students to share and spread ideas and to connect eager and capable students with field professionals in hopes to encourage breakthrough research. For the past four years, this organization has been actively and passionately organizing a multitude of events, including the annual SFN Wonder event where we have had a panel of neuro-specialists presenting to and interacting with high schoolers. We have sessions discussing internship opportunities in the various branches of neuroscience for high school kids. In addition to having Brain jeopardies and quizzes as we help prepare participants for the Brain Bee, we also host monthly speakers (most of whom are researchers or physicians) and a Brain Dissection event!
