SPROUT Telehealth
www.aap.orgThe SPROUT(Supporting Pediatric Research on Outcomes and Utilization of Telehealth)-CTSA Collaborative Telehealth Research Network is a National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS) collaborative innovation (U01) award aiming to: 1) establish a robust platform for multicenter telehealth research through the development of a variety of research tools, 2) develop and integrate training and education modules and workshops on telehealth research, and 3) develop an effective infrastructure to disseminate research findings, emerging best practices, and new research tools. The SPROUT-CTSA Network is comprised of a broad scope of healthcare professionals vested in promoting and implementing best practices for telehealth research across multiple medical disciplines and healthcare professions. As a collaborative research network we offer our members and external stakeholders resources to help facilitate telehealth focused projects across a wide spectrum of healthcare evaluation including, but not limited to health outcomes research, program evaluation, quality improvement, economic evaluation and cost-effectiveness, comparative-effectiveness, implementation science, telehealth education and training, health equity, patient and provider experience, and policy. The SPROUT-CTSA Collaborative Telehealth Research Network provides a rich resource of telehealth and research experts to exchange innovative ideas, offer mentorship, and collaborate on multisite research with more than 280 members nationally and globally across more than 140 institutions.
