Edinburgh Women's Aid supports women and children to recover from the trauma of domestic abuse. We provide a range of services offering practical and emotional support including: a helpline and webchat; crisis accommodation (refuge); 1:1 support; court advocacy; support into employment; therapeutic support for mum's and children; and art therapy for children; training for professionals (such as the police, NHS, social work). Edinburgh Women's Aid supports around 2000 women and around 150 children in Edinburgh per year.
