The Friends of Southwark Cathedral is a wide network of people who have the welfare of the Cathedral at heart. Some live or work nearby and worship regularly at the Cathedral. Some now live far away but still feel part of Southwark traditions. All play a vital part in contributing to the future of the Cathedral and its mission. The Friends provide financial support: - to repair, maintain and beautify the fabric of this glorious building for the Cathedral choirs when on tour; - to help the Chapter in their mission; and - to contribute in a host of ways to the life and work of the Cathedral.
