So state government created Workers’ Compensation in order for you to “apply” for benefits that you’re already entitled to and that your employer already paid for. But the slow-moving, inefficient, and complex state bureaucracy cheats employers out of what they paid for, rewards shady insurers, and empowers anonymous out-of-state physicians to reject your company-doctor’s orders.
