MITCHELL COMMUNITY SCHOOLS is a primary/secondary education school district located in Mitchell, Indiana, United States. The public schools in Mitchell first opened their doors in 1869. Through the years the school has educated many outstanding young men and women. Mitchell High School is an accredited member of the North Central Association of Universities, Colleges and High School and has been awarded a First Class Commission by the Indiana State Board of Education.
