Miller Girls Services Organization is a non profit student organization in Lubbock, Texas. The purpose of Miller Girls is: to volunteer for various community events; to raise money for various charities; to introduce members to social activities; to develop mature, lasting friendships and leadership skills among its members; and to promote Texas Tech University and the Lubbock community. Originally, the Miller Girls were created as the philanthropic arm of the Miller Brewing Company. They did charity and fundraising in the name of Miller Brewing Company throughout the country. In 1977, some of the members decided to officially break their ties with Miller Brewing and became a formal service organization. Of the five original chapters, Texas Tech University is the only lasting chapter.
