Disability Advocacy Alliance (DAA) was formed by parents, family members and guardians to protect the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ohio. DAA's mission is faithful to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the U.S. Supreme Court Olmstead decision that make individual choice paramount in accessing services. It is with this legal foundation that DAA asserts that states must offer a range of residential, habilitation, and employment services to meet the diverse needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
