CALIFORNIA ALLIANCE OF CAREGIVERS INC (CAC) represents the voice of relative and non-relative caregivers to promote the well-being of children in foster care. CAC is a statewide organization aimed at improving child welfare program and policy using the voice and lived experience of foster, kinship, guardian and adoptive families. CAC's headquarters is across from the state capitol building in Sacramento. Caregiver leaders across the state meet regularly with decision-makers to address challenges and barriers to high quality foster care and to caregiver retention.
