The Stone family lived in southern Maryland and were quite involved in helping found our country. Thomas Stone signed the Declaration of Independence. William Matthew Stone was one of the first Governors of Maryland. The Stone name has been associated with real estate for almost a Century in the DC area. Liane’s mother, Nancy, sold real estate in Maryland and Washington, DC for 25 years. Liane’s grandfather, James Gibbons Stone had a career in Mortgage Lending. He used to always say, “In Unity There is Strength!” So it is with great pride that Liane founded Stone Properties VA. The family values of the Stone family are rock solid!
