Our portfolio gives a special focus to films with feminist, queer and underrepresented perspectives, and embraces diversity in all its forms to challenge the status quo. Founder / producer Julia Wagner previously worked as producer for Sommerhaus Filmproduktion, for IN THE AISLES and WHAT DOESN’T KILL US, among others. Originally trained as audiovisual media designer, she got a diploma in international producing from Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, is alumna of EAVE ProducersWorkshop, Rotterdam Lab & BerlinaleTalents, member of EWA European Women Audiovisual Network, the French-German Film Academy and Produzentenverband. Since 2019 she joined the production committee at Filmakademie BW as advisor and lecturer, where she also teaches in the GENDER & DIVERSITY-IN-PROGRESS line. WE MIGHT AS WELL BE DEAD (Natalia Sinelnikova) celebrates world premiere at Berlinale 2022, opening the Perspektive Deutsches Kino. Previous projects include the fiction feature SEGUNDO TEMPO / SECOND HALF (BRA/DE). The hybrid/creative documentary EMBODIED CHORUS (DE/LIB/LUX, Mohamad Sabbah & Danielle Davie) is currently in post-production; further projects in development and financing.
