It takes a cast of thousands (donors and volunteers) to feed the hungry at Martha’s Kitchen. Our Silicon Valley soup kitchen, has been feeding the hungry of San Jose since 1981, and is 90% volunteer operated. Our dedicated volunteers collect donated food, prepare it, and serve hot meals to the hungry in our community. This past year Martha's Kitchen provided nearly 1 million meals and distributed 3.5 million pounds of groceries to the communities that we serve.
