Our mission is to preserve and enhance the rural character and natural beauty of our community through the permanent protection of open space and related activities. The Fallbrook Land Conservancy (FLC) is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the rural lifestyle and natural beauty of our community through: Land Protection. We currently protect more than 2700 acres of open space including the 1200 acre Margarita Peak, 10 other preserves, and over 600 acres of conservation easements. Tree Planting and Habitat Restoration. The Save Our Forest group has planted more than 4,000 trees and our Land Management and Native Plant Restoration teams have completed numerous habitat restoration projects on our preserves. FLC's Trails Committee maintains an extensive system of hiking and riding trails on seven of our preserves.
