Western Michigan University's FSAE team consists of 50 student members from various engineering and business majors. Students join the team excited to learn and apply classroom topics to real world applications. Each year, members are tasked with designing and manufacturing a competitive race car all while following a rigorous set of rules and regulations. In the spring, the team attends the FSAE Michigan competition. There, students are judged by industry professionals on vehicle design, performance, and cost. The Formula SAE program is a great opportunity for students to enhance their engineering design and project management skills.
