The CIPD in Scotland
www.cipd.co.ukThe CIPD has more than 11,000 members from the public, private and third sectors, and across businesses of all sizes from across Scotland. We sit at the heart of a proud, growing community of practitioners, members, partners, policymakers and thought leaders in the world of work. We work with the Scottish Government, its agencies and several academic, business and voluntary partners on a broad range of public policy issues, with a particular focus on fair work, skills and productivity. We are key partners on a range of working groups and serve as a conduit to our network of members who both inform and shape the debate, government policy and legislation for the benefit of employees and employers. We recognise the key role we can play in facilitating Scotland-wide, cross-sector networks and communities where our members can learn, debate and connect with other professionals. For example, in addition to your local branch events, the CIPD Scotland team also hosts regular networks for individuals working in senior in-house roles in industrial and employee relations and in reward, we have recently launched a new policy network, and we host regular HR Leader network events. Follow us on LinkedIn to keep up to date with our latest events and campaigns and to find out about opportunities to get involved with our research and special interest groups. You can also sign up for the monthly CIPD Scotland newsletter, published on the first Tuesday of every month for news, views and events from the CIPD in Scotland. Sign up at cipd.co.uk/Scotland.
