Our Seva has chosen to address food and shelter needs in our community as our mission through single annual-projects. (Priti) ANNUAL PROJECTS OCTOBER: We rehab the exterior of homes for seniors, veterans, those with functional challenges and in need APRIL: We raise money for the North Texas Food Bank through our #For1Meal Campaign I founded Our Seva Nonprofit in February 2011 (along with my two dearest friends Ann and Phillip) in loving memory of my parents and younger brother who passed away in October 2009. Our Seva is a community of about 250 volunteers/friends that address food and shelter needs in our community as our mission through single annual-projects. This community of friends and family is an example of what can come out of our individual pain and loss: community, connection, love, faith, hope - RESILIENCE. As of October 2019, we have rehabbed the exterior of over 40 houses and completed several community projects (park cleanup, tree planting etc...)
