African Equity Empowerment Investments Limited (AEEI) is a majority black-owned and black-managed JSE-listed investment holding company and is a subsidiary of Sekunjalo Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd. AEEI, a JSE-listed diversified investment and empowerment company, has investments in fishing and brands, technology, events and tourism, health and beauty, and biotherapeutics, all supporting B-BBEE and small, medium, and micro-enterprises (SMMEs). Products and Services provided by the Group Fishing and Brands – Sales & marketing of west and south coast rock lobster, longline hake, squid, fishmeal, abalone and the production of Seagro (organic fertiliser). Technology – The ICT group is a JSE-listed B-BBEE ICT group of technology companies that offer ICT services and solutions to clients and participants in a range of industries that are best served by technology solutions to enable them to be efficient in their key capabilities. Events and Tourism – This sector involves Events management, travel solutions, as well as a radio station, all which generates income via their advertisers, clients and sponsorships. Health and Beauty – Manufacturing, sales, and marketing of an extensive range of natural products that are human, animal and plant safe and internationally recognised in the food, agriculture, hygiene and general health sectors, as well as sales of renowned cosmetics. Biotherapeutics – Focuses on healthcare applications and more specifically on the production of biopharmaceutical products (those that are derived from living genetically modified cells and are of a protein or carbohydrate nature). AEEI primarily operates in South Africa and we continue to expand our footprint into the rest of Africa. AEEI also has a market presence in Asia, Europe, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Spain, the UK, the USA, Ghana, Uganda, Zambia, Cameroon, Tanzania, Nigeria, Kenya, Zimbabwe and many more.
