That’s why our team meticulously researches our ingredients, their sources, and their impact on the planet and our health. We use artisan techniques to preserve the living and vibrant tastes and phytonutrients in our foods, so our customers can trust the ingredients they are putting into their bodies. Started out of the NYSM (Not Your Sugar Mamas) Café on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, the line of superfood raw chocolate quickly grew to have a cult following and wide distribution in the New England area. The company wrote the cookbook “Chocolate Every Day” (Penguin Randomhouse) in 2017. Recognizing the consumer need for living and delicious foods, the island eatery expanded its offerings and the obsession for our plant-based cheeses began. The need for a more expansive brand was warranted, and Happyist was formed. Be on the lookout for an expanded offering of pantry items in the months to come.
