A 'one-stop shop' for older people and their families and carers, to help navigate the world of social care. Shears provides a whole host of services to support older people who either want to remain independent at home or move somewhere more manageable, that perhaps also provides a degree of support, eg sheltered housing or a care home. Specifically we help with things like benefits, home care, social services processes, funding, care homes as well as the interfaces between social care and health and the private, statutory and voluntary sectors. Shears is flexible and only provides what clients want, from information and advice to full hands-on support.
