The Lodis Forum
www.thelodisforum.comThe Lodis Forum is a rare and transparent collective of like-minded women. All members are Chairs or Vice-Chairs of their Private Company Board of Directors. Family-Owned Businesses, Private Equity Firms, and more - all privately owned and operated. We are the only forum exclusively connecting Female Chairs or Vice-Chairs of privately owned firms. The power of our "collective" is both inspirational and unique. A 2019 Study produced in collaboration with CrunchBase, Him for Her, and Kellogg School of Management report: 60% of private companies do NOT have a single woman on the board Women held 7% of board seats Executives and investors compose 80% of director seats, of which women hold fewer than 5%. There are no federal or state rulings that mandate privately held firms have women on their boards. The assumption is that Women's Board Chairs or Vice-Chairs are rare in private firms, and this presents us, as a forum, with a unique opportunity of influence. We offer a quarterly forum where conversations with your peers (Board Chairs or Vice-Chairs) can be frank and transparent. Quarterly forums have planned agendas geared towards curated topics and thought leadership, sharing obstacles and opportunities, and creating a trusted network for all to reach out and connect. Our collective voices are uniquely suited to elevate a public conversation for promoting more women and Board Chairs.
