Alpha Phi Omega - Clemson University (Gamma Lambda)
www.clemsonapo.orgThe Gamma Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Omega was founded in 1940, and we currently stand as the second oldest organization at Clemson University. As we strive to live by the ideals set forth by our national founder, Frank Reed Horton, we place value in Alpha Phi Omega’s motto, “Be a Leader, Be a Friend, Be of Service.” As a service fraternity, we dedicate ourselves to providing service for others. We are co-ed and welcome any and all students at Clemson to come join what we do. While service is our main focus, we also promote leadership opportunities within and outside of our organization and take the time to organize social events for our members. This makes up the three core principles of APO: leadership, friendship, and service. Alpha Phi Omega (APO) is a co-ed national service fraternity founded on the principles of Leadership, Friendship and Service. It provides its members the opportunity to develop leadership skills as they volunteer their time to their fraternity, campus, surrounding community, and their nation. With over 400,000 collegiate members making up over 369 active chapters, Alpha Phi Omega is the largest collegiate fraternity in the United States. We are an inclusive group, open to all nationalities, backgrounds, and genders, and we welcome you to become part of our amazing organization so that together we can pursue a common goal – leading through service to others.
