The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued Person-Centered Care regulations designed to “Strengthen persons and their families as partners in their care. The result - Persons and families are engaged, informed, empowered partners in care.” Adoption and compliance with these rules impacts Medicare and Medicaid Reimbursement. Full compliance is scheduled for completion by November, 2019.
