We are a Limited Company specialising in the design and fabrication of bespoke metal artworks. We create functional and non functional metal art for private and public clients focussing on bespoke gate commissions, sculptural installations and public art. Creative Director Bex Simon is a leading female Artist/Blacksmith who is unconstrained in her approach to design, drawing inspiration from limitless sources of research. Bex sees Artist Blacksmiths today as those who use the traditions of the ancient craft of blacksmithing with contemporary forms of metal-smithing to produce modern artwork. Bex refers to herself as an ‘artsmith’ to distinguish this new style. And that is how we work: blending traditional craft with contemporary design and modern methods of fabrication; fizzing with creativity and passion for art; embodying the very idea of the artsmith.
