Initially created in 2012 as a brand selling foodie-themed apparel, Yummyholic eventually re-launched as an online bakery specializing in custom small treats in 2015. Yummyholic partners with local nonprofits Beverly’s Birthdays and The Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh and has donated over 3,500 treats to these and other organizations since its start as a full-time bakery business. As a winner of the Food Business & Commercial Kitchen Grant competition sponsored by La Dorita Cooks and Urban Innovation21, Yummyholic has been able to grow its business out of the La Dorita shared commercial kitchen space in Sharpsburg, PA. Current plans are to incorporate decorating classes and a bake therapy program in addition to their custom baked good offerings.
