Merriwood is a place beyond the edge of the paved world, where people can unwind with comfort and security. Merriwood is a planned lakefront community with a working farm, lodge, wellness center, and other unique sustainability and resiliency assets. Ownership of any of the 51 units will confer membership in a self-governing community with an elected homeowners association that manages substantial recreational, sustainability and survivability assets including a community lodge, working farm, livestock, stores of equipment, and large tracts of farm, forest, and waterfront. The community will be open year round, although we expect that the majority of the members will primarily come in the summer and for vacations.
