Know Your Place
www.knowyourplace.org.ukKnow Your Place helps artistic and creative organisations in the UK to evolve, improve and change – making themselves fit for the future. Know Your Place enables organisations to make things happen. You bring the vision, the ambition and the ideas, and we’ll help you take them to fruition – with a focus on developing and encouraging your people, the heart and the soul of every good organisation. And we don’t just provide pie-in-the-sky strategies on paper – we’ll join you at the coalface, get our hands dirty and bring about the change you want and need to see. Know Your Place was launched in 2022 by Kerry Bishop, a highly respected London-based arts leader. Kerry has worked at executive levels across architecture and the arts for two decades, most recently as Managing Director of the ICA and Chief Operating Officer of Frieze. She brings with her a wealth of hard-won wisdom and experience across all aspects of leadership and management – plus a network of experts to work with both her and you as needed. Know Your Place can help you to: - Reshape your organisational structure – making it more fit to fulfil your purpose - Deliver complex projects – taking ambitious artistic endeavours, huge capital investments and more from conception to completion - Improve your strategic business planning – helping you to secure a solid and sustainable future - Rejuvenate your leadership – instilling new skills and practices to take your organisation forward - Revitalise your staff – your greatest asset The creative industries are at a crossroads. Artists, curators and creatives are wellsprings of inspirational ideas, but creative organisations often lack the skills or structures to bring them truly alive. And with public and private funding more precarious than ever, it’s vital that creative organisations are run with competence, integrity, empathy and fortitude. We'd love to talk about your next project and ambitions.
