The Sarasota-Manatee Originals exist to promote dining in independently owned restaurants and collaborating to serve the interests of the independent restaurateur. The Originals consist of over 60 locally owned restaurants from Anna Maria Island to South Venice, who share a passion for dining excellence and commitment to our community. The group was conceived to unite independently owned restaurants and identify our region as a culinary destination. By bringing together restaurants through membership, we showcase the best of our collective culinary offerings to a broader audience.
