ScotsERVS
www.scotservs.comEst 2011, ScotsERVS is a life-saving charity that provides a range of charitable ambulatory & other specialist medical logistics to NHS Scotland. Based in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, our volunteer response teams work in partnership nationwide to enhance patient care and to support hospitals, units and directorates to provide the best possible care for patients. The charity funds an NHS Transport Team which responds daily to calls for assistance. And our hospital volunteering projects empower people from all walks of life to utilise their skills to contribute something meaningful to their local community. ScotsERVS relies entirely on voluntary donations, grant funding and philanthropy to fund our charitable service costs, equipment and training. If you would like to help us champion our cause or get involved in supporting the charity through fundraising, please email: info@scotservs.org.uk As a nonprofit healthcare organisation, our charity's work provides ambulatory services and hospital volunteering projects which integrate with existing hospital provision in a joined up approach to enhance care and support vulnerable patients and families. We improve parity of access to resources for patients with complex or life-limiting conditions and innovate with NHS colleagues to provide patients with the best possible care. Our ambulatory projects enable a number of long-term paediatric patients to live at home or in the community for the first time, rather than long-term in hospital; achieved by working in partnership with NHSGGC, the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow Royal Hospital for Children and CHAS Robin House. Please help us raise awareness of ScotsERVS by joining us on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube or Instagram
