Keeping up to date with retail trends, we moved away from surf industry in favour of an extensive range of lifestyle products. The business has been continually evolving and expanding, which has given the team significant e-commerce experience essential to run each aspect of the online retail journey (product placement, marketing, customer order experience, order fulfilment and customer services). We now operate out of 2 large warehouses with 4 offices on the same site. Our business is based around our customers and their needs. We pride ourselves on our competitively priced items and the speed at which we can deliver these items. The extremely experienced customer service team lead the way, being the first point of call for all of our customers. Email and live help are an important means of communication for customer services team, but they still know the importance of picking up the telephone and having a real unscripted conversation – a personal touch that we will never change. Our fulfillment team are experts at speed and precision. At different times of the year the teams pull together for challenges outside of the daily routine. We like to get involved in sporting events and invest in our local communities, we also invest in promoting sun care education and sponsoring teams at national events. We have a dedicated IT team on site and a remote team who look after the back end of all of our systems. Our directors have a clear vision for the future of Venture Blue and lead the team with a determination, work ethic, social conscience and importantly, a sense of humour.
