LUX-ed delivers lighting design education for architects, designers and lighting professionals. Workshops are provided in a fast-paced, fun and hands-on setting. Topics include: • Principles of lighting design • Human factors for design • Strategies for energy code compliance • Designing with LEDs • Lighting controls • Facility-specific lighting Workshop attendees learn valuable information to immediately use, such as how to select the appropriate lighting sources; how to comply with applicable energy codes; how to determine LED system installation requirements; and how to incorporate sustainable lighting solutions into various types of projects. Workshops are AIA and IDCEC accredited and qualify for sustainability and health+welfare credits.
