Jon is also on the MDV-SEIA Board of Directors, VAEIC Executive Board, Virginia Solar Energy Development Authority, and is the only registered NRCA RISE Certified Solar Roofing Professional in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Prior to SolUnesco Jon led Prospect Solar, the professional's choice for design/build solar energy system installation. Francis Hodsoll, co-founder of SolUnesco leads business development, sales and strategy. Francis combines 20 years of business development and general management expertise with strong strategy, finance, policy and performance management capabilities. His expertise is in power plant development, finance, advanced energy, sustainability, energy efficiency, hydro, solar, wind, biomass, and natural gas. Francis has held positions as CFO for a power plant owner and operator; Deputy Director of the Federal regulator for offshore energy; and VP in charge of a distributed energy project development group. Francis is Board Treasurer of the MD-DC-VA Solar Energy Industry Association, Board President of the Virginia Advanced Energy Industries Association, Chair’s the Energy Workgroup for Governor McAuliffe’s Climate Change and Resiliency Update Commission and is a committee member of Governor McAuliffe’s Energy Committee.
